The story of Facets began in the 1980s. At that time, the ZChZ design bureau was developing a compact version of its famous diving watch.

During a hike through the Taganay mountains, the plant’s chief engineer happened to notice the natural geometry of the rock formations. In 1983, this inspired the idea of a case with a faceted surface architecture. The project was later closed and lost in the archives.

Almost 40 years later, a folder with the intriguing title “Case No. 47. Experimental. Facets” was discovered. The current ZChZ team studied the drawings and sketches, adapting them to contemporary technologies and materials. Facets were born: a watch with crisp case geometry that preserves the original engineering concept while meeting the most modern standards.

A safe green luminescent compound is applied by hand to the dial. It charges by absorbing light energy from any light source and emits a bright, long-lasting glow in the dark.

The watch maintains water resistance and accurate timekeeping even at great depth thanks to its special construction: a monocoque case machined from a single piece of metal, special seals, and a unique pressure cap with a patented triple-sealing system that protects the crown.

AGAT watches are equipped with an automatic winding system: responding to the natural motion of the wrist, the rotor steadily builds power reserve and maintains rate accuracy without the need for daily winding. This construction enhances wearing convenience, reduces load on the winding mechanism, and ensures reliable movement operation with regular wear.

Premium-grade crystal with anti-reflective coating. Exceptionally strong, it withstands high pressure and mechanical impact. It retains its transparency and clarity throughout its service life.

The watch is supplied on a basic leather strap and includes an additional branded rubber strap. The rubber offers enhanced wear resistance, withstands moisture and temperature fluctuations, requires minimal care, and remains comfortable during extended wear. It is suitable for both active use in extreme conditions and everyday wear, retaining its appearance and functionality.
